Toast and Kiss Cancellation Policy for Wedding Planning and Event Planning Services:
Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure our planning services. This deposit is applied towards the total cost of the service package chosen. Full payment is due no later than 30 days before the event date.
Cancellation by Client: If the event is canceled more than 90 days before the scheduled date, clients are responsible for 50% of the total service fee. Cancellations made within 60 to 89 days of the event date will incur a charge of 75% of the total service fee. For cancellations within 59 days of the event, the client is responsible for the full service fee.
Rescheduling: We understand that plans can change. Events may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, up to 60 days before the original date without additional fees, except for any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
Rental Services (Tabletop Items, Luxury Picnic Essentials, etc.):
Deposit and Payment: A deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required to reserve items, with the balance due 14 days before the event. The deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation by Client: For cancellations more than 30 days before the event, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations within 14 to 29 days of the event will incur a charge of 75% of the total rental fee. Cancellations within 13 days of the event will require payment of the full rental fee.
Damage or Loss: Clients are responsible for the care of rented items from delivery until return. Charges will apply for damaged, lost, or items returned in a condition requiring repair or special cleaning.
General Provisions
Cancellation by Toast and Kiss: In the unlikely event that Toast and Kiss must cancel a service or rental booking, clients will receive a full refund, including the deposit, within 30 days of the cancellation notice.**
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond the party’s reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, acts of war, public health emergencies). If such circumstances arise, both parties will negotiate in good faith to reschedule or modify the services as necessary.
Notification: All cancellations or changes to bookings must be made in writing and will be effective upon receipt by Toast and Kiss.
Refunds: Any eligible refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
